ANTENNAE invites you to enter the movie of your life.
Here, you are the audience and performer, the dreamer and the dream, antennae and signal.
Described as a creative playground, slow disco, or ecstatic dance party,
you will take part in the spontaneous creation of a live film.
Led by creator Jason Rodi, ANTENNAE is an ensemble of 12 musicians improvising what we've come to call "spiritual music", a transcendent sound that lifts the spirit, for which we are mere conduits.
The video installation stages Plato's allegory of the cave, immersing you in a world where
WE ARE ALL ANTENNAE.
ANTENNAE is available for events, creative retreats, or live shows,

ANTENNAE: A Living Narrative
ANTENNAE is not just an event; it's a living narrative, a canvas for the creation of our own mythologies in the ever-unfolding present. It's a collective journey where we become both the audience and the performer, the dreamers and the dream itself. Each event is recorded and filmed for posterity, and available for streaming on all NOMADlife.tv apps (ROKU, FireTV, AndroidTV, AppleTV, iOS, Android, and YouTube).
Spiritual Music : A Transcendent Ensemble Experience
Like 12 apostles, the core ANTENNAE ensemble is an open band of 12 musicians + guests. With piano, cello, electric, acoustic and bass guitars, harmonica, vocals, congas, steal and electric drums, flutes, saxophones, and more, we record about 90 minutes of original music at NOMAD each week, never playing the same thing twice. We keep our music within the realm of neo-psychedelic, atmospheric, and cinematic aesthetics, which we've come to simply refer to as "spiritual music." We hence renounce ownership of these spontaneous creations, acting as antennas, mere conduits for the music flowing through us.
The Installation: A Ballet of Shadows and Light
ANTENNAE stages Plato's allegory of the cave through a transformative installation involving a back projection screen and a large mirror, immersing you in a mesmerizing dance of shadows and light. Participants become integral to this dance, casting their silhouettes against images of antennas shot all over the world by Rodi, a poetic expression of the message WE ARE ALL ANTENNAE, and a celebration of the interconnectedness of all things.
Flower Moon ANTENNAE

The Flower Moon symbolizes growth, fertility, and the beauty of spring.
This full moon often serves as a reminder of the renewal of life that spring brings,
coinciding with a time when many plants are at their peak vitality.

ANTENNAE participants wear sunglasses.
The lighting is designed accordingly,
protecting our eyes from the projections,
and setting the stage for a metamorphosis of perception.
As the experience deepens, your lenses become windows to the 4th Dimension,
an augmented reality as profound and altering as that reached
through psychedelics or the most heightened meditative trance.
