NEXT ANTENNAE : Wednesday April 1st 9pm
Pink Moon ANTENNAE
at NOMAD | 129 Van Horne, Montreal

As the full Pink Moon rises, ANTENNAE gathers once more at NOMAD, crossing fully into spring and into the season of soft returns.
The Pink Moon is the moon of first bloom.
Not of fullness already achieved,
but of beauty just beginning to reveal itself.
Of tenderness returning after endurance.
Of colour rising quietly through the thaw.
If the Worm Moon stirred what had been sleeping, the Pink Moon lets it open. It is the moon of emergence becoming expression, of what has survived the cold now daring to show its face.
After two years of lunar transmissions, ANTENNAE continues to deepen not as a series of events, but as a way of tuning ourselves to time, to one another, and to the invisible field that forms when sound, shadow, and presence are allowed to meet without force.
Each full moon, we return to the same simple invitation: to enter the room, to listen, to breathe together, to let music and movement arise in real time.
There is no setlist.
There is no script.
There is only the conduit of NOW.
Through hundreds of hours of improvisation, we have come to understand that what flows through ANTENNAE is Fourth World music: music beyond geography, beyond era, beyond ownership. Neither ancient nor modern, but somehow both. It does not come from trying. It comes from listening. The ego softens. The room becomes the instrument. The group becomes the channel.
The Pink Moon carries a different kind of power than winter’s moons. It does not gather or endure. It reveals. It reminds us that vulnerability is not weakness, but bloom. That joy can be delicate and still immense. That after the long inward season, beauty returns not all at once, but petal by petal.
This Pink Moon ANTENNAE is an opening.
A flowering.
A night for what is ready to be felt.

ANTENNAE invites you to enter the movie of life.
Here, you are the audience and the performer, the dreamer and the dream, antenna and signal.
ANTENNAE is a living, unfolding work — a live film composed in real time. Often described as a creative playground, slow disco, or immersive art experience, it blurs the boundary between observer and participant, inviting you to step inside the act of creation itself.
Led by creator Jason Rodi, ANTENNAE is an ensemble of musicians improvising what we have come to understand as Fourth World music — a form of spiritual music that exists beyond genre, culture, or era. Rooted in intuition, presence, and collective listening, the music does not seek expression so much as transmission. We are not its authors, but its conduits.
The accompanying video installation evokes Plato’s allegory of the cave, surrounding the audience in shadow, silhouette, and signal — a reminder that perception itself is part of the performance, and that
WE ARE ALL ANTENNAE.
ANTENNAE unfolds with each full moon at NOMADlife.tv 129 Van Horne.

ANTENNAE: A Living Narrative
ANTENNAE is not just an event; it's a living narrative, a canvas for the creation of our own mythologies in the ever-unfolding present. Each event is recorded and filmed for posterity, and available for streaming on all NOMADlife.tv apps (ROKU, FireTV, AndroidTV, AppleTV, iOS, Android, and YouTube).
Fourth World Music : A Transcendent Experience
The ANTENNAE ensemble is an open, evolving collective of musicians led by Jason Rodi. Its instrumentation is fluid and expansive - piano, organ, cello, electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, harmonica, voice, congas, steel tongue and electronic drums, flutes, saxophones, and more - shifting with each gathering according to intuition rather than arrangement.
Each week, we record hours of original music, never repeating ourselves, allowing sound to arise in the moment. These recordings feed the atmospheric films of NOMADslow.tv, where image and music exist in a shared state of becoming.
The music of ANTENNAE belongs to what we call Fourth World music - a spiritual form beyond genre, geography, or tradition. It draws from neo-psychedelia, cinematic ambience, ritual rhythm, and deep listening, yet resists definition. The ensemble does not perform the music; it receives it. We do not claim authorship. We act as antennas - listening, attuned, and open - allowing the signal to pass through us as it will.
The Installation: A Ballet of Shadows and Light
ANTENNAE stages Plato's allegory of the cave through an installation involving a back projection screen and a large mirror, immersing you in a mesmerizing dance of shadows and light. Participants become integral to this dance, casting their silhouettes against images of antennas shot all over the world by Rodi, a poetic expression of the message WE ARE ALL, and a celebration of the interconnection of all things.

The films below, created at ANTENNAE events, are echoes of the eternal NOW.
The music was recorded live and silhouettes filmed in real time at NOMADlife.tv.
