As the full Cold Moon rises over December skies, ANTENNAE returns to NOMAD for a night of sonic hibernation and cinematic transmission. This is the moon of long nights and sharpened stillness, a time to listen deeper, to slow the breath, to hold the warmth that remains.
Each ANTENNAE gathering is a unique ritual, conjured live by an evolving ensemble of musicians, dancers, and signal-bearers. Beneath the mirrored moon, silhouettes flicker across luminous screens as soundscapes crystalize in spectral waves.
This Cold Moon ensemble embraces the silence between notes and the shadows between frames. The music moves like breath freezing on a windowpane: fragile, fleeting, yet full of meaning. It is instinctual. It is listening. It is winter’s heartbeat.
No setlist. No rehearsals. Just transmission.

ANTENNAE: A Living Narrative
ANTENNAE is not just an event; it's a living narrative, a canvas for the creation of our own mythologies in the ever-unfolding present. Each event is recorded and filmed for posterity, and available for streaming on all NOMADlife.tv apps (ROKU, FireTV, AndroidTV, AppleTV, iOS, Android, and YouTube).
Spiritual Music : A Transcendent Experience
The ANTENNAE ensemble is an open collective of musicians led by Jason Rodi, spanning piano, organ, cello, electric, acoustic and bass guitars, harmonica, vocals, congas, steel and electronic drums, flutes, saxophones, and more. Each week we record at least two hours of original music, never repeating ourselves, feeding the atmospheric films on NOMADslow.tv. Our sound lives within the realm of neo-psychedelia, atmospheric textures, and cinematic landscapes, a current we’ve come to call simply spiritual music. These improvisations are not ours to claim: we hence renounce ownership, acting instead as antennas, connected to the divine, conduits for the music as it flows through us.
The Installation: A Ballet of Shadows and Light
ANTENNAE stages Plato's allegory of the cave through an installation involving a back projection screen and a large mirror, immersing you in a mesmerizing dance of shadows and light. Participants become integral to this dance, casting their silhouettes against images of antennas shot all over the world by Rodi, a poetic expression of the message WE ARE ALL, and a celebration of the interconnection of all things.
