This year, more than ever, I’ve felt grateful and proud to be Canadian. Filming The Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver was my way of rediscovering the country, not through commentary, but through presence. Across 28 hours of Slow TV, I invite you to look out the train window as generations have before: lakes, prairies, Rockies. These rails are more than steel, they’re the veins of our history, carrying memory and identity across the land.
