Jennifer Bailey

Vice President Business Development, Sanexen

With a background in chemical engineering and business strategy, Jennifer is an accomplished leader with over twenty years of industrial experience and an in-depth expertise in the field of water technology. 

 

Jennifer also brings with her a unique perspective, having spearheaded market and commercial alignment strategies as well as technological developments for use in the pulp and paper, mining and chemical refining industries focusing on utilities, influent water and wastewater management.

 

As Vice President, Business Development of Sanexen Environmental Services Inc, Jennifer works closely with the environmental team to define and implement a solid business development plan that will see the next generation of water technology, proven lead-free and PFAS solutions installed in cities and towns across North America, who are urgently facing deteriorating water main infrastructure challenges

Dr. Martin Bureau

Vice President Innovation, Sanexen

Since joining the SANEXEN team in 2013, Martin Bureau has made his mark, heading up the Research and Development/Engineering team. Under his leadership, SANEXEN was awarded significant grants totalling $3.1M, for the technological demonstration of three SANEXEN technologies, i.e., ALTRA Proven Water Technologies (trenchless water main renewal), ALTRA Proven PFAS Solutions and SANEXEN’s new patent pending value-add transformation technology for construction and demolition (C&D) fine residues.

Martin began his career in Engineering in 1992, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy, followed by a Master’s degree in Physical Metallurgy, and a Doctorate in Materials Science. He worked in applied research at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) until he joined SANEXEN, where he was instrumental in the development of the ALTRA Proven Technology as part of an NRCSANEXEN partnership. He has authored more than 200 scientific journal articles and international conference reviews, and is co-author of more than 20 patents.

Today, he and his team are spearheading SANEXEN’s exciting and innovative technology, ALTRA Proven Solutions, tackling the most important water challenges facing cities across North America. He continues to drive research into ways of developing the most resilient solutions for water main renewal, lead-free and PFAS solutions, finding ways to incorporate science and technology into ensuring everyone has clean drinking water for generations to come.

Tim Cansler

Government Relations and Strategic Communications consultant 

With over three decades of experience in the federal policy arena, Tim Cansler has held a variety of positions in government and the private sector. Prior to founding Cansler Consulting, Tim was Assistant to the Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs at the United States Department of Agriculture.  In this capacity, he worked at the Department level on multiple domestic and international issues with jurisdiction across multiple government agencies.  He assisted in the administration and management of four agencies with nearly 15,000 employees located in all 50 states, 4 Territories and around the world administering multiple billions of dollars in government programs.From 1995-2002, Tim served as a congressional affairs executive for the largest trade association in Washington serving the food and agriculture industry, where he managed the association’s federal government affairs and communications programs. Tim also served on the professional staff of two members of the U.S. House of Representatives serving on the Agriculture and Armed Services Committee and Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee.In his time with Cansler Consulting, Tim has used this experience to assist multiple clients as they pursue their policy, regulatory and legislative objectives with key officials at the White House, members of various Congressional committees and executive branch agencies. The sectors he has worked with include county governments, food and agriculture, forestry, water, technology, international trade, and environment.
